Easter is about the life God brings out of death. The resurrection of Jesus Christ shows God overcoming the sin and death of this world, and providing all of us an opportunity to live into the New Creation that was initiated. This Easter, we invite you to walk with us as we seek to bring that New Creation a little closer the reality in which we live.
Our 2008 Earth Day resource is now available, either via download or in hard copy, and examines the interconnectedness of the issues of poverty and global climate change, and the opportunity we have to make a difference on both issues at the same time. Click here to download it, and involve your church in the conversation.
As we continue our work together to protect God’s Creation, we are developing new and exciting ways to reach out and involve more of you in the work of our office. Recently we have launched a Facebook page and MySpace cause for those of you involved in social networking, and a YouTube page to deliver our message in a different medium.
All of this, along with the other work being done in our office, is not possible without your support, in spirit, but also in action. Click here to make a donation to the Eco-Justice Programs of the National Council of Churches. This Easter, lets continue this journey together, living into the New Creation that the resurrection of Jesus Christ represents.
