Candlelight Vigils A Success

As noted in the post below, last night over a dozen candlelight vigils were held to raise awareness that climate change is a moral issue, and to call on our political leaders to take action. From Florida to Pennsylvania, from New Jersey to Texas, people of faith gathered together to bring their voice to the conversation. Click here to read about the vigil that was held in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Below are some pictures from the Oregon vigil.

Keep the movement going, and get your church involved in bringing the voice of people of faith to the issue of climate change. Click here to download our 2008 Earth Day resource: “The Poverty of Global Climate Change”.
