Celebrate World Water Day this Sunday!

This Sunday, March 21st is World Water Day. As people of faith this day invites us to reflect on God’s gift of water as a source of life and a powerful symbol of renewal, promise, and hope.  This day also reminds us that we are called by God to be Stewards of Creation, and to love our neighbors be ensuring that God’s gift of water is shared by all. In addition, the National Council of Churches has developed a comprehensive collection of resources designed to empower congregations in the Chesapeake Bay to Care for God’s Creation by conserving water and energy and managing rainwater runoff on church grounds, and is giving presentations to congregations throughout Maryland.
